I am the bird and the hope

I wonder how many morning lights I will see

I hear the loud waking alarms in my thoughts

I see the sunshine shining bright upon me

I want this to be true

I am the bird and the hope

I pretend to fight the wind

I feel the strong force that tores my wings

I touch them everytime, enough to feel the pain

I worry the dandelion may laughs at me

I cry for every feathers that fall from me

I am the bird and the hope

I understand the thorns on my wings

I say the ought to hurt me

I dream they never tore myself

I try shaking them away from me

I hope the sunshine will never betrays me

I am the bird and the hope
